Welcome to Opera Hawke's Bay
Opera Hawke's Bay has been in existance for over 20 years with the sole intention of creating opportunities for professionals and amateurs within the community to work together and learn, stage and perform Opera at the highest standard.
Opera Hawke's Bay enjoys a membership of over 100 opera lovers and produces one large scale opera every two years. Our boutique productions are performed in a local iconic venue or in the recently refurbished Hawke’s Bay Opera House, considered to be one of the top opera houses in the southern hemisphere.

A celebration concert featuring arias from the best loved operas and a performance of menotti's one-act opera "The Telephone".
Friday 31st October & Saturday 1st November, 7.30pm Playhouse Theatre, Hastings.
Sunday 2nd November, 2.00pm Waipawa Town Hall.
